OUR ANALYSIS OF JEAN PING’S GUIDANCE. NOTRE ANALYSE DE LA NOTE DE JEAN PING

Here is dear readers, what seems to us important in the message addressed by Jean Ping to the Gabonese diaspora
1. Let us be strategists, let us play chess and not checkers: we have many things to reproach to France; too many things to reproach to France. But we must do this by choosing the right methods and times. At a time when the European Union has just voted a resolution, which seems to be moving towards sanctions, should we try to get the political France to support this approach by aligning itself with other European countries such as Germany, to apply sanctions against Ali Bongo and isolate him to bring us a little closer to change at the top of the state in Gabon, or should we alienate France? It is not a question of stupidly trusting, it is a question of being acutely strategist and calculating every move that one decides to make.
2. Should we go after the distant enemy that is France and risk dissipating our energies, which should concentrate on the near enemy that is Ali Bongo? Our anger and exasperation should not make us forget the configuration of forces on the ground in Gabon and how to achieve our ends. We have all the evidence that the Bongos’ roots in Gabon and France are very deep and that we must play very very cleverly to dislodge them. For example, our valiant Bengone Nsi has denounced for more than 30 years now, the role of France in Gabon, which has imposed on us the Bongo family; and even after demonstrating Ali Bongo's Biafran origins that made him ineligible in Gabon, France's Sarkozy dismissed these claims and installed this impostor to power. We need to find other mechanisms to achieve our ends. Insulting people is very easy and it is within the reach of everyone. But to reason and convince is another thing altogether.
3. Ping is in a diplomatic logic which forbids him all invective and fools language: the Ping camp has only the Gabonese people and its diaspora who have been fighting admirably for more than a year. It's tough but that's the political battle. We cannot at the slightest jolt, forget the fundamentals that have led us to where we are today. We cannot embrace ill-prepared strategies simply because we are impatient or frustrated. To overcome this regime we must all converge towards the same goal. If we do, the big countries like France and the USA will have to follow us. We can do it without creating additional and unnecessary animosities.
4. Let’s capitalize on the soundness of our cause: members of the Diaspora do an excellent job of education and mobilization. Because of them, our capital of sympathy with the bodies of the EU and the French media is appreciable. But that is not enough; we must continue to push in the right direction.
5. What should we do? The first thing is not to get discouraged and engage in paths of dispersion. The second thing is to not listen to those who tell you that change is impossible in Gabon because France blocks everything; even though, as Jo Leinen has already told us, France has often protected Ali Bongo in the EU decision-making body. But reality tells us that it is despite this same France that Benin and Senegal have succeeded in imposing change in their countries. The question for us is to think about how to do the same thing in ours. How can we make change come to Gabon with or without France?
6. What attitude to have before the French power embodied by Macron? On a visit to the island of Reunion, after the riots in Guyana, Emmanuel Macron said: "I hear the wrath of the Guyanese people. I call for calm. Let us catch up and provide the answers we need!" In the case of Gabon, we must constantly tell him that his country must stop supporting imposture in Africa and that if France can accept change in Benin and Senegal; it should do the same for Gabon. The Gabonese can no longer take the support of the electoral masquerade which France has systematically been guilty of in Gabon.

Voici chers lecteurs, ce qui nous parait important dans le message adressé par Jean Ping à la diaspora Gabonaise
1. Soyons stratèges, jouons aux échecs et non au damier : nous avons beaucoup de choses à reprocher à la France ; trop de choses à reprocher à la France. Mais nous devons le faire en choisissant les méthodes et les moments propices. Au moment où l’Union Européenne vient de voter sa résolution qui semble se diriger vers des sanctions, devons-nous essayer d’amener la France politique à appuyer cette démarche en se mettant en phase avec les autres pays Européens comme l’Allemagne, pour faire appliquer des sanctions contre Ali Bongo et l’isoler afin de nous rapprocher un peu plus de l’alternance au sommet de l’Etat au Gabon, ou devons-nous nous aliéner la France? Il ne s’agit pas de faire bêtement confiance, il s’agit d’être fin stratège et de calculer chaque coup que l’on décide de porter.
2. Faut-il s’arc-bouter contre l’ennemi lointain qu’est la France et risquer de dissiper nos énergies qui devraient se concentrer sur l’ennemi proche qu’est Ali Bongo ? Notre colère et notre exaspération ne devraient pas nous faire oublier la configuration des forces en présences au Gabon et comment arriver à nos fins. Nous avons toutes les preuves que l’enracinement des Bongo au Gabon et en France soit très très profond et qu’il faille jouer très intelligemment pour les déloger. Par exemple, notre valeureux Bengone Nsi dénonce depuis plus de 30 ans maintenant, le rôle de la France au Gabon, qui nous a imposé la famille Bongo ; et depuis, même après avoir fait la démonstration des origines Biafraises d'Ali Bongo qui le rendaient inéligible au Gabon, la France de Sarkozy a passé outre ces revendications et installé cet imposteur. Il nous faut trouver d’autres mécanismes pour arriver à nos fins. Insulter les gens est très faciles et c’est à la portée de tout le monde. Mais raisonner et convaincre, c’est une autre paire de manche.
3. Ping est dans une logique diplomatique qui lui interdit toute invective et écart de langage : le camp de Ping n’a que le peuple Gabonais et sa diaspora qui se battent admirablement depuis plus d’un an. C’est dur mais c’est cela le combat politique. On ne peut pas à la moindre secousse, oublier les fondamentaux qui nous ont conduit là où nous sommes aujourd’hui. On ne peut pas embrasser des stratégies mal préparées simplement parce qu’on est impatient ou frustré. Pour venir à bout de ce régime nous devons tous converger vers le même objectif. Si nous le faisons, les grands pays comme la France et les USA, seront obligés de nous suivre. Nous pouvons y arriver, sans nous créer des animosités supplémentaires et non-nécessaires.
4. Capitalisons sur la justesse de notre cause : les membres de la diaspora font un excellent travail d’éducation et de mobilisation. A cause d’eux, notre capital de sympathie auprès des instances de l’UE et des media français, est appréciable. Mais ce n’est pas suffisant ; nous devons continuer à pousser dans le bon sens.
5. Que devons-nous faire ? La première chose est de ne pas se décourager et s’engager dans des voies de dispersion. La deuxième chose est de ne pas écouter ceux qui vous disent que l’alternance est impossible au Gabon car la France bloque tout ; même si comme nous l’a déjà dit Jo Leinen, la France a souvent protégé Ali Bongo au sein de l’instance décisionnel de l’UE. Mais la réalité nous dit que c’est malgré cette même France que le Benin et le Sénégal ont réussi à imposer l’alternance chez eux. La question pour nous est de réfléchir à comment arriver à faire la même chose chez nous. Comment arriver à faire imposer, avec ou sans la France, l’alternance au Gabon.
6. Quelle attitude à avoir face au pouvoir français incarné par Macron ? En visite dans l’île de La Réunion, après les émeutes de Guyane, Emmanuel Macron avait dit : « J’entends la colère des Guyanais. J’appelle au calme. Rattrapons le retard et apportons les réponses nécessaires !» Dans le cas du Gabon, nous devons lui répondre sans cesse, que son pays doit arrêter de soutenir l'imposture en Afrique et que si la France peut accepter l’alternance au Benin et au Sénégal, elle devrait faire de même pour le Gabon. Les Gabonais n’en peuvent plus de ce soutien à la mascarade électorale dont la France a systématiquement été coupable au Gabon.

The rating agency Fitch has just lowered Gabon's rating from "B +" to "B", with a negative outlook. In an article entitled " Les conséquences de la dégradation de la note souveraine du Gabon ", published on May 12, 2015, by our shrewd compatriot Mays-Mouissi; an explanation of the effects of such a degradation had been given to us. But it seems important to us to recall these consequences.
The main consequence is that the recent degradation of Gabon's note is the death knell of the state lie that made people like Régis Immongault say that Gabon had the capacity to borrow to infinity to resist the effects of the crisis. The regime’s liars even qualified the loan granted to Gabon this year by the World Bank, as evidence that our country was financially credible.

L’agence de notation Fitch vient encore d’abaisser la note du Gabon de "B+"à "B", avec perspective négative. Dans un article intitule « Les conséquences de la dégradation de la note souveraine du Gabon », publié le 12 Mai 2015, par notre perspicace compatriote Mays-Mouissi ; une explication des effets d’une telle dégradation nous avait été donnée. Mais il nous parait important de rappeler ces conséquences.
La principale conséquence est que la récente dégradation de la note du Gabon vient sonner le glas au mensonge d’Etat qui faisait dire à des gens comme Régis Immongault, que le Gabon avait la capacité d’emprunter à l’infini pour résister aux effets de la crise. Les menteurs du régime ont même qualifiés le prêt octroyé au Gabon cette année par la Banque Mondiale, comme la preuve que notre pays était financièrement crédible.
Par voie de conséquence, l’abaissement de la note qui arrive au moment où le Gabon se lance dans des opérations d’emprunt tous azimuts à l’international, va compromettre l’évaluation des capacités de remboursement du Gabon, puisque l’agence Fitch cite le surendettement du Gabon comme l’une des principales raisons de l’abaissement de cette note. Ce qui signifie qu’un abaissement de cet ordre, disant que le Gabon est désormais spéculatif, serait à même de multiplier par deux si ce n’est plus, les taux d’intérêt qui seront appliqués par les bailleurs de fonds pour les emprunts du Gabon. Ce qui va aggraver encore plus, la balance budgétaire et la dette extérieure du pays, en cette période de plus en plus critique de crise aigüe.
