This interview with Raymond Ndong Sima was, in our opinion, laborious, because he tried his hand at political funambulism.

Obvious evidence of inconsistency: Mr Ndong Sima seems today to softly align himself behind the resolution of the EU which confirms that the election was not to be validated, because not sincere. Cette interview de Raymond Ndong Sima a été à notre avis laborieuse, car ce dernier s’est essayé au funambulisme politique.

Simple évidence d’incohérence : Monsieur Ndong Sima semble aujourd’hui se ranger mollement derrière la résolution de l’UE qui confirme que l’élection n’était à valider, car non sincère. Mais c’est pourtant ce même Monsieur qui s’était précipité à l’intronisation d’Ali Bongo aller par ce fait valider sa continuation au pouvoir. Peut-on avoir le beurre et l’argent du beurre ? Monsieur Ndong Sima, nous pensons que non.

Raymond Ndong Sima was Prime Minister of Gabon from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, the rating agency Fitch lowered Gabin’s rating and predicted a bleak future for our economy because we were not prepared for the effects of the fall of the price of a barrel of oil.

As you can read above, Régis Immongault accused the Fitch agency of having an inaccurate economic analysis of Gabon, noting that: "Gabon is prepared to face the shock on oil prices without any major impact. According to our simulations, economic growth will remain strong next year, notwithstanding a lasting drop in the price of oil ".

At the time, this blog published several posts castigating the irresponsible lies of Régis Immongault, which were only economic fantasies. But the Prime Minister, Raymond Ndong Sima, remained curiously silent in the face of Regis Immongault's deceptions.

However, in his interview of September 27, 2017 (above), Raymond Ndong Sima states the following from the 20th minute: "I published in 2014 a paper entitled Peril en la demeure. I want to be clear; in 2014, when oil prices collapsed ... I was saying that we are setting foot in a dangerous crisis situation. When a country has a decline in revenues of such great importance in such a short time, it faces a severe crisis ... the revenues we have become less than the expenditures we have ... We have a debt that increases faster and faster".

Raymond Ndong Sima a été Premier Ministre du Gabon de 2012 à 2014.

En 2014, l’agence de notation Fitch abaissait la note du Gabon et prédisait un avenir sombre a notre économie car nous n’étions pas préparés aux effets de la chute du cour du baril de pétrole.

Comme vous pouvez le lire ci-dessus, Régis Immongault accusa l’agence Fitch d’avoir une analyse économique erronée sur le Gabon, affirmant notamment que : «le Gabon est préparé à subir sans impact majeur le choc sur les prix du pétrole. Selon nos simulations, la croissance de l’économie restera forte l’année prochaine, nonobstant une baisse durable du prix du pétrole».

A l’époque, ce blog publia plusieurs billets fustigeant les mensonges irresponsables de Régis Immongault, qui ne relevaient que de fantasmes économiques. Mais le Premier Ministre que fut Raymond Ndong Sima, resta curieusement silencieux face aux errements de Régis Immongault.

Mais seulement, dans son interview du 27 Septembre 2017 (ci-dessus), Raymond Ndong Sima affirme ce qui suit à la 20ième minute : « j’ai publié en 2014 un papier intitulé Péril en la demeure. Je voudrais être clair ; en 2014, lorsque les prix du pétrole se sont effondrés… je disais nous sommes en train de mettre le pied à une situation de crise dangereuse. Lorsqu’un pays a une baisse de ses recettes d’une aussi grande importance en un temps aussi court, il fait face à une crise sévère… les recettes que nous avons sont devenues inferieures aux dépenses que nous avons… Nous avons une dette qui augmente de plus en plus vite».

Il est clair que Raymond Ndong Sima nous suggère dans son interview que Régis Immongault racontait des conneries en 2014 quand il affirmait que le Gabon était économiquement préparé à faire face à la chute du prix du pétrole. Il aurait seulement été souhaitable que Raymond Ndong Sima éleva sa voix envers Régis Immongault en ce temps-là. C’est cela la responsabilité économique et politique qu’on attend d’un Premier Ministre.
