It has become a truism for the Bongo regime, to consider that it could do what it wants to the Gabonese people, because it is the mildest and most peaceful people and he would never rise up against this regime which oppresses them.
The actions of some Gabonese resisters, whether they live within or outside of the country, who have decided to fight against this regime, are thus destroying the ready-made certitudes of the regime, which does not tolerate that the Gabonese people could stand up to them.
Faced with Gabonese who want to hold the regime accountable, the hawks are reacting as their instinct recommends to them; they are threatening the people. It is still not accepted by the regime that some Gabonese could undertake any liberating action.
While the regime is hacking a tailor-made succession, and that it sets up a whole mechanism to make people believe that Ali Bongo is still at the helm of the country, some free Gabonese are mobilizing; and that bothers and worries the regime. So, it threatens!

C’est devenu un truisme pour le régime Bongo, que de de considérer qu’il pouvait faire des Gabonais ce qu’il voulait, car c’est le plus doux et le plus paisible des peuples et qu’il ne se soulèveraient donc jamais contre ce régime qui l’opprime.
Les actes de certains Gabonais de la résistance, qu’ils résident au pays ou en dehors, qui ont décidé de se buter contre ce régime, vient donc culbuter les certitudes toutes faites du régime qui ne tolère pas que des Gabonais lui tiennent tête.
Face aux Gabonais qui demandent des comptes au régime, les thuriféraires réagissent comme leur instinct le leur recommande ; ils menacent les Gabonais. Il ne vient pas toujours à l’idée du régime que les Gabonais puissent entreprendre la moindre petite action libératrice.
Pendant que le régime se bidouille une succession sur mesure, et qu’il met en place tout un dispositif pour faire croire aux gens qu’Ali Bongo soit toujours aux commandes du pays, des Gabonais libres se mobilisent ; et cela incommode et inquiète le régime. Alors, il menace !
